AC250 9-Station Drill & Tap Machine
Job 0844 was the rebuild and retrofit of an AC Tapper machine.The machine was disassembled and inspected, and the electrical, lube, hydraulic, pneumatic, and coolant systems were rebuilt. The electrical rebuild included an Allen-Bradley PLC controller and Power Flex Frequency variable speed drives. The milling slides and tapping heads were all rebuilt with Rockford self-contained units. Protective covers and operator guards were fabricated and installed to meet modern requirements.
