Job #0936 is a full rebuild of a Landis 4R OD plunge grinder.

The rebuilt OD grinder included an upgrade to an energy-efficient, hydraulic-free design for reduced maintenance and lower cost of operation. The grinding wheel spindle cartridge was updated, and automatic gauging and balancing systems were added for precision tolerance.

A total machine enclosure was designed and built, including a mist collection system for plant cleanliness and an Allen-Bradley GuardLogix controller with GuardShield type-4 light curtains for operator and perimeter safety.
